ALL I WANT
Annnnyway so Christmas is fast approaching and I have been racking my brains over what I want ( I am so much better at thinking of presents for everyone else and not for myself) but here is my short sharp and shiny list:
In no order of preference: Low Leopard Print Cons, Missoni Crochet Vest, Lime Crime "My Beautiful Rocket" lipstick, Vintage Givenchy Necklace, Big Day Out ticket (my Granny has given me this every year since I was 15 but its soooo expensive this year, boo!!), Shop Till You Drop subscription, Vintage Beaded Cape.
Looking back I feel a bit greedy, but they are seriously just ideas and I would be more then happy with just one of these things. I guess Christmas would have to be one of my favourite times of year... mainly because of my deep obsession with fairy lights but I also love giving the perfect presents and eating delicious food with the people I love. I'm actually getting excited! Bring it on.

SOON
All the whinging my boyfriend does every time we go op shopping (or shopping in general) about lack of cool boys stuff has finally paid off for vintage and fashion loving gentlemen of the world. I have decided to have both a girls and boys prize! woohooooo!
I am currently putting the final touches on both lots of prizes but am still open for suggestions. So if you have any ideas, wants or lusts let me know and you never know what might happen?!
I'm really excited.
Next weeks a big one with a Gilles St. Markets, a few job interviews, a photo shoot, heaps of altering and hemming, getting the lookbook ball rolling and of course giveaway announcing. So awesome, can't wait.
But for now, It's almost vodka time in our house so I best be getting ready now... before it's too late!
Happy weekend everyone XXX

HEY THERE
I can't believe I've neglected my blog for so long.
And truth be told, I don't feel like I've done or achieved anything worth posting about.
My past two weeks have been full of planning.
I've been writing lists, having discussions and brainstorming like a mofo.
With so many things in the works and crazy ideas flying around its hard to know where to start.
Today I am having a break for all of that and taking one of my favourite people out for a day of massive op shopping to celebrate her birthday. Personally it's my favourtie way to spend the day and can only be topped by a day of op shopping with a picnic lunch.
In other news, I currently have a small collection in Red House Vintage store.
there are some ammmmmaaaazzing pieces:
Vintage Crochet Black & White Dress
Vintage Beaded Bustier - sooo awesome
Vintage 70s Maxi Dress w' Original Tags
Vintage 80s Square Dress
Vintage Polka Dot Shift Dress
Vintage Plaid Picnic Dress

SERIOUSLY
Anyway I checked out the Stella McCartney collection in my local Target and the two pieces I was most interested in weren't even there! Not because they had sold out, they just didn't get them in store. su-uh-uk. I was super disappointed about this I failed to really look at anything else on offer, except of course the super cute black round hat which is easily my favour tie piece anyway.
On the bottom of my priorities (but top of my wants) list this week is a new couch. About two years ago Dave and I found the most amazing lounge set in an op shop and scooped it up (pre moving out it was so good) It is gold and had an amazing wallpaper like pattern, comfortable and probably the best looking set of lounges of all time. Unfortunately the main two seater has failed to stand up to our high demands of sit time and has decided to start sinking. So we are now on the look out for the perfect two-three seater to fit right into our lounge.
Here's what I'm thinking...
None of these are exactly perfectly what we want but they are all pretty cool. It needs to be big comfortable and fit right into our 60s/70s lounge room decor. Apparently (after accessing these photos) I want it to be velvet... and I guess it either needs to match our existing lounge chairs or contrast against them. Blue? Deep purple? hmmmmmm...
