get motivated.

I wish I could.
Today I've spent almost all of my working time doing nothing. Well not exactly nothing, I listened to many good tunes, added about 1000 things to my "really wants" list, almost decided on the best present ever for my friends 21st, played with my dog, got a pastie with my boyfriend for lunch, watched some 90's music videos on youtube, caught up on many favourite and new blogs, tried to get my new phone to work (and it wont), played with some clothes and cooked some Mexican for dinner.
And now its 6.45pm and I am just starting to do what I was meant to do all day. Oh well another late night for me.
The last few weeks have consisted of many out of the ordinary late nights, mainly due to the fact that Daves band is currently recording an EP and he's been getting home at all sorts of hours every other night.

There is also the totally real issue of not being able to get off eBay no matter how hard I try... I can always think of "just one more" thing to look up.
EBay addiction, it's taking over.

Ha ha I just thought of the irony of writing a blog post whinging about wasting time.
Alright with that I better be off, go make yourself a cuppa tea & have a good weekend!

avocado love.

Just wanted to share my food buy of the century...

Photobucket
Huge Box of Avocados = $5

No joke.
Dave and I go to the markets every Sunday to do our fruit and veg shopping. We have scored many bargains in the past, but I really can't think of one that compares to this.

This week is going to be full of avocado-y goodness and I can't wait.
M&M if you are reading this, come over and get some!

Gary Pepper Vintage

I am a massive fan of Nicole from Gary Pepper Vintage, I have been lucky enough to watch her shop and business grow for almost a year now and I can honestly say she is one of my biggest inspirations.
She is one of the people who inspired me to jump right into my shop and has really proven what following a dream can achieve.
Not only is she the hardest working girl in the game but her style is incredible, she always looks perfectly polished whatever she is doing.
So Nicole, I salute you and truely thank you for all your hard work, amazing vintage pieces, style and introducing me to Jeffrey Campbell shoes. Much love.

Finally

So I'm at the pointy end of finishing all the details for my first ebay collection, it is very exciting.

I have been super busy the last few weeks with photos shoots, measuring, describing, editing, sewing, fraying and styling all thing Red House related.
Can't wait to get it all completely up and running, and share my amazing vintage finds with everyone.

I had a massive photo shoot earlier in the week with my gorgeous friend Kayla. It was so much fun and I couldn't be happier with how the photos came out.

Below is my favourite photo from the shoot. My dog is half human I swear, sometimes she looks like she is trying her hardest to talk. She is an amazing dog and lucky for me super obedient but she just couldn't handle being ignored for almost 2 days while we were busy shooting. So she did the super sneaky side of the photo sit and pose.
It's one of her many half dog/human skills, she knows the exact most inconvenient place to be in the entire house at any time.

haha.
Stay tuned for more Red House updates, not long now till its all ready to go!

DIP DYE

So I think I've decided to dip dye my hair...

It's a pretty big deal for me considering I'm 21 and the first, last and only time I have ever dyed my hair was in year 6. I had a bob and dyed all of it "Flamingo pink".
It was so cool.
I have super long thick Strawberry Blonde hair and I can't decide to go for pink, blue or purple ends.
I am leaning towards pink though, i guess just wanting to relive my past. :)
I think even the idea of me dying my hair is going to freak my boyfriend out (he is very much in love with my hair just the way it is) so I'll just have to do it while he's at work on monday, what a nice surprise to come home to. hahaha.
and now I have found these pictures of Abbey Lee, I think I'm sold.
Pink Flamingo, I am all yours.
